Talks and Keynotes

Artificial Intelligence explained with clarity, context and real application
A talk should not end when the speaker leaves the stage.
It should leave a clear idea, prompt a decision, and help the audience understand what they can do differently from the next day on.
In my talks I combine education, research and hands-on experience to make subjects like Artificial Intelligence, digital innovation, leadership and the future of work understandable, relevant and applicable to very different audiences.
Technology With an Impact on People and Organizations
I talk about technology without separating it from the people who will use it, the decisions they will have to make, and the context they work in.
The goal is not to parade a series of tools, make vague predictions about the future, or impress the audience with technical concepts.
It is to help leaders, professionals, students and organizations understand what is genuinely changing, where the opportunities are, and what capabilities they will need to build to keep up.
Talk Topics
Artificial Intelligence applied to real work — how to use AI to increase efficiency, support decisions, improve processes and extend what teams can do, without turning the talk into a tool demo.
Leading and deciding in the age of Artificial Intelligence — the role of leadership in AI adoption, in preparing people, setting limits, and building organizations able to use technology responsibly.
The future of work and human capability — what changes in professions, skills and organizations when technology takes on a growing share of intellectual work.
AI in practice for SMEs and organizations — a concrete look at the opportunities AI creates for companies without large technical teams or heavy budgets.
Digital innovation and process transformation — how to move from isolated experiments to real change in processes, services, customer experience and the way teams work.
Artificial Intelligence, education and learning — how AI is changing the way we learn, teach, research and build skills throughout life.

Other Settings
Over recent years I have also taken part in academic seminars, business gatherings, conferences on Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity, entrepreneurship initiatives, webinars, fireside chats and sessions for students and future professionals. There have also been appearances on RTP1, in Expresso and on Rádio Universitária do Minho, and a regular presence at Web Summit since 2019.
The audiences have been very different: boards, leaders, business owners, professionals, researchers, teachers and students.
The principle stays the same: adapt the depth, the examples and the language to the context of each event.
Formats
- Keynote — an opening or closing address built around one central idea, with a strong narrative suited to the theme of the event
- Themed talk — a session on Artificial Intelligence, leadership, digital innovation, skills or the future of work
- Session for leadership — a more private session for boards, executives and management teams, focused on decisions and strategic implications
- Panel or round table — a conversation with other specialists, leaders, researchers or professionals in the field
- Fireside chat — a closer, informal conversation with room to explore experience, ideas, challenges and questions from the audience
- Hands-on session — a talk with examples, demonstrations and concrete applications of the technology at work
Talks can be delivered in Portuguese or English, in person or online.
What the Audience Takes Away
Talks are adapted to the event, the audience profile and the outcome the organization is after. Depending on the context, participants leave with:
- a clearer understanding of what Artificial Intelligence can and cannot do
- concrete examples of application at work and across organizations
- criteria for assessing opportunities, risks and priorities
- a more realistic view of the future of professions and skills
- questions able to keep the conversation going inside the organization
- next steps that can be applied after the event
It is not only about informing. It is about creating enough clarity for the audience to think, decide and act differently.
After the Talk
A talk can open the conversation. Transformation requires continuity.
When an organization wants to go deeper, build skills or apply the technology to its processes, the work can continue through:
- training for leaders and teams
- assessment and consulting in Artificial Intelligence
- continuous learning programmes
- implementation of assistants, automations and digital solutions
SuperHumano Academy covers the continuous learning side. SuperHumano AI handles strategy, adoption and implementation.
